Remove teammate access

Replace this area with a screenshot or short walkthrough video during the media sweep.

Remove access quickly when a teammate, contractor, or agency no longer needs the workspace. This protects customer data, website publishing, settings, and money workflows.

What this guide helps you do

  • Remove an active member from the organization.
  • Revoke a pending invitation.
  • Review related ownership and follow-up after access changes.

Before you start

  • Confirm the person should no longer have access.
  • Transfer ownership of active work, customers, campaigns, invoices, or workflows if needed.
  • Know whether external integrations also need access removed outside Faster.

Do it manually

  1. Open Settings and go to Members.
  2. Find the member and choose the delete or remove action.
  3. Confirm removal.
  4. Open Invitations and revoke pending invites that should no longer be valid.
  5. Review active assignments, sender mailboxes, channels, workflows, and customer ownership.
  6. Remove or rotate access in external tools if the person also had access there.

Ask Faster AI

  • Create an offboarding checklist for this teammate across customers, campaigns, website, payments, and integrations.
  • List workspace areas I should review after removing a contractor.
  • Draft a task list to reassign this teammate work.

Review before saving or publishing

  • Do not remove your own access unless another admin is available.
  • Check scheduled campaigns, posts, payments, and workflows before removing an owner.
  • Revoke external-account access separately when needed.

Common issues and fixes

  • If work loses an owner, assign it to another teammate.
  • If an integration was connected by that teammate, reconnect it with a shared or owner-approved account.
  • If an invitation was sent by mistake, revoke it before the recipient accepts.

Placeholder media

  • Screenshot placeholder: add an annotated screenshot of remove teammate access with customer names, email addresses, private domains, DNS values, amounts, internal notes, and unpublished content blurred.
  • Video placeholder: add a short walkthrough that starts from the relevant Faster workspace area, shows the manual path, then shows how to ask Faster AI and review the result before saving, publishing, sending, or applying work.

Use it in daily operations

  • Write down which workspace setting changed, who approved it, and which public page, sender, integration, role, or analytics view should be checked afterward.
  • When a setting affects customers, emails, payments, domains, or public URLs, test the visible workflow before treating the configuration as done.
  • Ask Faster AI to prepare the review checklist, but keep credentials, payment details, and sensitive customer data out of prompts and screenshots.
