Roles protect sensitive workspace areas. Be especially careful with teammates who can publish public content, manage customer data, change billing, send invoices, or work with money.

What this guide helps you do

  • Review who can access sensitive workspace areas.
  • Choose appropriate roles for content, customers, and money workflows.
  • Update teammate roles when responsibilities change.

Before you start

  • Know each teammate responsibility.
  • Identify sensitive areas: billing, payments, invoices, customers, campaigns, website publishing, and settings.
  • Have approval from the organization owner for elevated access.

Do it manually

  1. Open Settings and go to Members.
  2. Review each teammate role.
  3. Open a member row to edit their settings or role.
  4. Limit admin access to people who need organization-wide control.
  5. Confirm content publishers, money operators, and customer-data users have the right permissions.
  6. Save changes and ask the teammate to refresh their session if needed.

Ask Faster AI

  • Create a role review checklist for content publishing, customer data, billing, invoices, and payments.
  • Help me classify teammates by access level based on these responsibilities.
  • Draft an internal access-review note for the business owner.

Review before saving or publishing

  • Use least privilege for sensitive money and customer data workflows.
  • Review roles after staff changes, agency handoffs, or campaign launches.
  • Do not discuss passwords, bank credentials, or private payment details in chat.

Common issues and fixes

  • If a teammate cannot complete work, check whether their role allows that area.
  • If someone has too much access, lower the role and confirm they can still do required work.
  • If money access changed, review recent invoices, bill pay, and payment activity.

Placeholder media

  • Screenshot placeholder: add an annotated screenshot of manage roles for content and money with customer names, email addresses, private domains, DNS values, amounts, internal notes, and unpublished content blurred.
  • Video placeholder: add a short walkthrough that starts from the relevant Faster workspace area, shows the manual path, then shows how to ask Faster AI and review the result before saving, publishing, sending, or applying work.

Related help

Use it in daily operations

  • Write down which workspace setting changed, who approved it, and which public page, sender, integration, role, or analytics view should be checked afterward.
  • When a setting affects customers, emails, payments, domains, or public URLs, test the visible workflow before treating the configuration as done.
  • Ask Faster AI to prepare the review checklist, but keep credentials, payment details, and sensitive customer data out of prompts and screenshots.
