Connect each social account or page before creating posts for it. Faster uses the connected channel to know where drafts, scheduled posts, and published updates should go.
What this guide helps you do
- Connect the accounts your team will publish to.
- Confirm the correct account is selected before drafting.
- Understand why a post cannot be moved to a different account after creation.
Before you start
- Use an account with permission to connect the social page or profile.
- Know which business accounts should be available to the team.
- Confirm whether the channel needs publishing, analytics, or both.
Do it manually
- Open the social workspace and choose Channels.
- Connect the platform or account your business uses.
- Complete the provider authorization flow.
- Return to Faster and confirm the account appears in the channel list.
- Create a small draft or test post for that channel before planning a campaign.
- If you need a different account later, create a new draft for that account instead of changing the existing post target.
Ask Faster AI
- Show me which social channels are connected and which ones are ready for publishing.
- Help me create a LinkedIn draft using the connected company page.
- Tell me which account this post is targeting before I schedule it.
Review before publishing or scheduling
- Check the account name before creating a draft.
- Do not share login credentials with teammates; use the provider authorization flow.
- Reconnect a channel if publishing or analytics stops after a provider permission change.
Common issues and fixes
- If a channel is missing, reconnect it or ask an admin with access to connect it.
- If a post was created for the wrong account, create a new draft for the correct account.
- If analytics are blank, wait for the provider sync window and confirm the channel still has access.
Placeholder media
- Screenshot placeholder: add an annotated screenshot of connect a social channel with account names, captions, media names, private URLs, and customer data blurred.
- Video placeholder: add a short walkthrough that starts from the social calendar, shows the manual path, then shows how to ask Faster AI and review the draft before publishing.
