What this guide helps you do
- Find customer actions without hunting through every panel.
- Use selected records, focused cells, and current views as context.
- Prepare AI handoffs for bulk updates, pipeline moves, tasks, or customer follow-up.
Before you start
- Open Customers, a customer record, or a specific view.
- Select or focus the records you want the command to use.
- Know whether the command is read-only, draft-only, or applies a change.
Do it manually
- Open Customers and use the command menu or pinned command buttons.
- Search for the action you need, such as new person, save view, open record, copy context, merge, or pipeline move.
- Confirm the command is using the selected records or current view you expect.
- Run read-only commands freely to copy context or inspect readiness.
- Use preview or confirmation before commands that update records, merge duplicates, move pipeline stages, or start journeys.
Ask Faster AI
- Use my selected customers as context and prepare a follow-up plan. Do not update records yet.
- Open the command menu options for this customer record and recommend the next safe action.
- Copy a customer handoff summary for the selected records so I can ask AI to draft tasks.
Review before saving or applying
- Check selected rows and focused record before applying a command.
- Use preview for bulk changes, merges, journey starts, and pipeline moves.
- Do not run commands that affect customers when you only meant to copy context.
Common issues and fixes
- If a command is disabled, check whether a record, row, cell, or stage is selected.
- If the command targets the wrong view, clear selection and reopen the intended view.
- If AI cannot act, copy the readiness or selection context and ask again with the specific outcome.
