Saved views turn repeated customer questions into reusable worklists. Use them for hot leads, new inquiries, missing data, overdue follow-up, active clients, and owner-specific queues.
What this guide helps you do
- Create a saved view from filters, sorting, and columns.
- Update or copy a view without disrupting starter views.
- Use saved views as a daily operating list for people, companies, or opportunities.
Before you start
- Know the worklist you want to repeat.
- Choose the filters, sort order, and columns that answer that question.
- Decide whether the view is personal, team-facing, or admin-managed.
Do it manually
- Open Customers and choose People, Companies, Pipeline, or another object list.
- Apply search, filters, sort, and visible columns.
- Choose Save view.
- Give the view a clear name, such as Hot leads, Missing phone, or My renewals.
- Save the view and reopen it from the sidebar or view menu.
- Update the view when the same worklist needs new filters or columns.
Ask Faster AI
- Create saved view ideas for a sales follow-up workflow and explain what each view should show.
- Make a saved view for people owned by me, stage is new, and last activity is older than 7 days. Show me before saving.
- Review this saved view and suggest columns that make follow-up easier.
Review before saving or applying
- Name views so teammates understand the job they support.
- Do not hide fields that are required for the decision the view supports.
- Avoid making a new view when updating an existing saved view is clearer.
Common issues and fixes
- If records disappear, clear filters and rebuild the view one filter at a time.
- If a starter view cannot be edited, create a copy.
- If columns do not persist, update the saved view rather than only moving columns in the current session.
