Use workspace switching when you belong to more than one business or client workspace. Confirm the active workspace before editing customers, publishing pages, sending campaigns, changing billing, or configuring plugins.
What this guide helps you do
- Confirm which workspace is active before making changes.
- Avoid editing the wrong website, CRM, Money records, or plugin data.
- Recover quickly when something appears missing because you are in the wrong workspace.
Before you start
- Know the workspace name you intend to work in.
- Finish or save any draft before switching away.
- Be careful with copied customer or payment details; they should not move between workspaces unless your business process requires it.
Do it manually
- Open the workspace switcher from the top navigation.
- Choose the correct workspace or organization.
- Check the workspace name, logo, or business profile after the page reloads.
- Reopen the area you need, such as Website, Customers, Money, Posts, or Plugins.
- Before saving, confirm the record, page, or campaign belongs to this workspace.
Ask Faster AI
- Confirm which workspace I am in and list what I should check before editing customer records.
- I am switching to the client workspace. Remind me which public items I should preview before publishing.
- Summarize open drafts in this workspace before I switch away. Do not publish anything.
Review before saving or publishing
- Check the workspace name before editing public pages, campaigns, invoices, or CRM settings.
- Do not paste private notes or payment information from one workspace into another.
- If a teammate cannot see something, confirm they are in the same workspace and have the right role.
Common issues and fixes
- If an item looks missing, switch back to the expected workspace and refresh.
- If AI references the wrong business, open the correct workspace and ask again with that context.
- If a change was made in the wrong workspace, stop and document what changed before attempting to recreate it elsewhere.
Use it in daily operations
- Use workspace switching at the start of each work session, not after several tabs are open.
- For agencies or multi-location teams, keep a short naming convention so workspaces are easy to recognize.
- When reviewing billing or Money records, treat workspace identity as part of the approval checklist.
Team handoff
- Write down what changed, who owns the next review, and which page, customer record, campaign, or plugin record should be checked next.
- If the work affects customers, include the public URL, test result, and any unresolved placeholder media in the handoff note.
- When Faster AI helped prepare the change, ask it to summarize the draft and review checklist so a teammate can approve the work without retracing every click.
Placeholder media
- Screenshot placeholder: add an annotated screenshot of switch between workspaces with private customer, payment, and workspace details blurred.
- Video placeholder: add a short walkthrough that shows the manual path, the Faster AI prompt, and the review step before anything goes live.
